LINEAGE AND MASTERS (School of the Ancients)
The first school of Tibetan Buddhism was named Nyingma (which literally means ancient). Its teachings and practices were brought from India to Tibet in the 8th century by the Great Master Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) and other associated erudites, such as Vimalamitra and Shantarakshita.
The Buddhist teachings given at this centre are Nyingma teachings from the Dudjom Tersar Lineage
